Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire opens
at the Tennessee Aquarium IMAX® Theater
The adventure begins Memorial Day weekend

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (May 9, 2006) – See Harry Potter on a six story screen with wrap-around digital surround sound when the Tennessee Aquarium IMAX Theater opens “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” May 26.

The IMAX format means that viewers won’t just watch the Quidditch World Cup – they’ll feel as if they were there. Imagine fire-spewing dragons and the excitement of the Triwizard Tournament in IMAX.

The film is the fourth installment in the beloved Harry Potter series, and the second to be digitally re-mastered into large format,

following the successful June 2004 release of “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban: The IMAX Experience.” The large 15/70 film frame, combined with the IMAX projection technology and remarkable sound system, will provide moviegoers with an immersive, extraordinary cinematic experience.

“Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is a film rich in scope and detail, all of which will be well served by the scope of IMAX,” says David Heyman, producer of the Harry Potter film series. “I have loved the immersive IMAX experience ever since I first saw “Fires of Kuwait” over ten years ago, so it is a thrill for me to have Harry Potter shown in this exciting format.”

“We are very excited to bring the suspense, humor, action and drama of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire to life on the giant IMAX screen,” director Mike Newell says. “The breathtaking IMAX format brings a whole new perspective to this marvelous story.”

In Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Harry (Daniel Radcliffe) must contend with being mysteriously selected to compete in the prestigious Triwizard Tournament, a thrilling international competition that pits him against older, more experienced students from Hogwarts and two rival European wizarding schools. Meanwhile, supporters of Harry’s nemesis, the evil Lord Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes), send a shockwave of fear throughout the wizard community when their Dark Mark scorches the sky at the Quidditch World Cup, signaling Voldemort’s return to power. But for Harry, this is not the only harrowing news causing him anxiety – he still has yet to find a date for Hogwarts’ Yule Ball dance.

Special pricing for this full-length (two and a half hours) feature film, “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.” This film is rated PG-13.
