ZOO ATLANTA

Tennessee Aquarium members appreciate fins, scales and gills, and Zoo Atlanta is inviting us to experience their fur, feathers and fangs! Zoo Atlanta is offering Aquarium members the opportunity to see giant pandas Lun Lun and Yang Yang, along with the rest of the zoo's animal family, all at a discounted price! Everyone included in your Aquarium membership will receive a $2 discount when you present your membership card at the zoo admission gates. One of only three zoos in the United States to exhibit and study rare giant pandas, Zoo Atlanta is also home to many other threatened and endangered species. The zoo exhibits nearly 1,000 animals living in naturalistic habitats, including: 23 western lowland gorillas, African elephants, Sumatran tigers, African lions, Sumatran and Bornean orangutans, black rhinos, Masai giraffe, lemurs and an extraordinary reptile collection. In addition to Zoo Atlanta's naturalistic habitats, kids of all ages will enjoy the Nabisco Endangered Species Carousel, the Norfolk Southern Zoo Express Train, the Publix Petting Zoo and the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Playground.

FERNBANK MUSEUM
of NATURAL HISTORY

The prehistoric creatures that inhabited the earth -- on land and under the sea -- can be found lurking inside the halls of Fernbank Museum this summer in two remarkable exhibitions. Aquarium members can see both for $2 off general admission when you show your membership card at the museum's ticketing counter. The special exhibition Savage Ancient Seas journeys underwater for an encounter with more than 50 specimens of the prehistoric fish, crustaceans and reptiles that lurked beneath the surface and reached lengths of up to 45 feet. Savage Ancient Seas is on view in conjunction with the IMAX® film Ocean Oasis.

The new permanent exhibition, Giants of the Mesozoic, features the world's largest dinosaurs. Walk through an awe-inspiring scene and among the fossils of prehistoric plants and other animals exposed in a trackway of dinosaur prints. Longer than three school buses end to end, Argentinosaurus is the largest creature ever known to walk the earth.

KNOXVILLE ZOO

Add some African spice to your trip and experience Knoxville Zoo's new African exhibit. Grasslands Africa!, opened in August 2002 and brings the animals of Africa to one location. The area was created to resemble an African animal translocation station. It includes an expanded exhibit area for giraffe, kudu, gazelles and waterbuck and a second area for zebra, ostrich and eland. Several huts and smaller exhibit areas include various species of birds. Also explore the zoo's other premiere natural exhibits - Stokely African Elephant Preserve, Black Bear Falls, Chimp Ridge, Gorilla Valley and more.

Everyone included in your Aquarium membership will receive a 20 percent discount when you present your membership card at the zoo admission gates.Regular admission is $9.95 for adults and $5.95 for children ages 3 through 12. Children under 3 are admitted free. Admission for senior citizens is $8.95.
