Backstage Pass — $15
Get VIP access to feed and touch Aquarium animals. Two tours daily -- River Journey at 11 am and Ocean Journey at 2:30 pm. Each one takes about 45 minutes. Aquarium admission is required. Due to safety concerns, children under age 6 are not permitted.
A 10% Military Discount is available. Show military I.D. to get a discount on Aquarium admission. Also applies to military retirees who show their I.D. cards. Available at Aquarium ticketing center only.
General Information:
Your Tennessee Aquarium experience will take at least two hours, and includes admission to two buildings: River Journey and Ocean Journey. Your tickets are good all day, so feel free to catch a bite or sneak a peek at an IMAX 3D film between buildings. The Aquarium Gift Shops close at 6:30 p.m. When scheduling your visit or IMAX film time, remember Chattanooga is in the Eastern Time Zone. All exhibit galleries are fully accessible and a limited supply of wheelchairs are available to rent.

Aquarium tickets are sold at the Aquarium’s ticketing center or at the IMAX box office from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET. You may purchase tickets online anytime. ONLINE TICKETS ARE GENERAL ADMISSION ONLY. Discounted member tickets may be purchased in advance by calling 800-262-0695, 8:30 am - 4:45 pm ET, Monday through Friday.
Regarding the River Gorge Explorer — Children under 3 are charged $18 because they are considered a passenger according to Coast Guard regulations.
