The Aquarium
and IMAX 3D Theater are open every day except Thanksgiving and
Christmas day. First admittance to the Aquarium is at 10 a.m. with last admittance at 6 p.m EST.; Aquarium closes at 8 p.m. The Aquarium ticketing center is open 9:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. daily.
- Your Aquarium
experience, which will take at least two hours, will include
admission to two buildings: River Journey and
Ocean Journey. Your tickets are good all day,
so feel free to catch
a bite or sneak a peek at an IMAX
3D film between buildings. You can purchase combo Aquarium/IMAX
ticket at a discount.
- The first
IMAX film is shown at 11 a.m. (IMAX
schedule) IMAX films are typically 45 minutes long.
- Behind
the Scenes Tours that include both buildings are available
daily.
- River Gorge Explorer cruise schedule changes daily. Excursions last 90 minutes. Please allow 10 minutes for loading and disembarking. The boat boards at the Chattanooga Pier - two blocks from the Tennessee Aquarium.
