What happens when everyone’s
gone home and the building is empty? You and your fellow
detectives will be locked inside Creative
Discovery Museum for a unique, after-dark mystery adventure.
You’ll get to snoop around the exhibits looking for
clues, discover knowledge in an educational, hand-on workshop,
play games, shop, snack and much more! Call the
Creative Discovery Museum at 423-756-2738 for your reservation.
Please register for your overnight adventure at least 3
weeks in advance.
GENERAL INFORMATION OVERNIGHT MYSTERY
Hours:
7:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m.
Group Size: Maximum - 100 Total: One adult
chaperone (21 years old or older) is required for every
8 children. Required chaperones are admitted free. Each
additional adult is $15.00. (Will give free admission for
up to 1 adult for every 5 detectives).
Grade Level: 1st through 6th grade
Cost: $700.00 minimum for up to 25 detectives.
$28.00 for each extra detective. Fee includes: museum exploration,
a hands-on workshop, a pizza dinner, evening snacks, sleeping
accommodations and breakfast.
MINI-MIDNIGHT MYSTERY
All the fun of an after dark mystery, but
no sleeping accommodations. A great experience if you don't
want to sleep over. Exactly the same as above, except:
Hours: 7:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Cost: $500.00 minimum for up to 25 detectives. $20.00 for
each extra detective. $10.00 for each extra adult.
WORKSHOPS
You and your fellow detectives can explore
one of these mysteries in a fun and educational workshop.

a polymer? Explore the amazing and gooey wonders
of science

was Alexander Calder? Create your very own unique
wire sculpture

do we know about dinosaurs? Learn how scientists
uncover what we know about prehistoric life.

Make different styles of prints and take home your own
masterpieces.

GIRL SCOUTS
Your Museum Mystery can include a specialized
badge workshop. Choose from one of the following:

and Numbers & Shapes.

DEPOSITS
A $100.00 deposit is due upon booking in order
to hold your reservation. The deposit is non-refundable and
non-transferable within two weeks of the event (10 business
days). Changes made after this date forfeit the deposit. Balance
is due upon arrival. Call the museum at 756-2738 for
your reservation. Please register for your overnight adventure
at least 3 weeks in advance.
